Georgetown Urban Design

2025 John Russell Pope Award Winner

At Avon Place in historic Georgetown, District Floor Depot installed three hardwood patterns across a trio of new townhomes: intricate basketweave in the entry, then long-length 5-inch traditional planks, and a bespoke 4.5-inch geometric chevron pattern in the kitchen. The result is a timeless blend of heritage and design excellence, honored with the 2025 John Russell Pope Award by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter.
